Kara Griffin hosts EPPIE AWARD WINNER Pam Champagne in this week’s Romance Writer chat at Realms of Love. Be here Monday March 10 at 9 PM EDT as these romance writers tell us about their books and how cold it is on the East Coast of the US. There will be give-aways so be sure to log in to the chat early. Here’s a little bit about Kara and Pam:

Pam Champagne lives in on 50 rural acres in rural Maine with her husband, two Siamese cats and a black Lab. By day she works in Bangor, Maine as a legal secretary.

Other than writing, Pam enjoys hunting, fishing or just being outdoors. Each year she promises to maintain her perennials and a huge vegetable garden, but somehow they always manage to get away from her. God blessed her with two beautiful children and two wonderful granddaughters. Pam writes, hot romantic suspense novels and is currently branching into short stories and novellas.

Dead Heat: As Jenna Green struggles to make a name for herself on the racetrack after her father’s untimely death, Rye Cameron’s offer of a job to train his horses comes out of the blue. Aware of his reputation with women, she accepts, despite her doubts. Soon she discovers the real reason Rye hired her and finds herself fighting for her life.

Kara Griffin says: Living the quiet life here in New Jersey. I can often be found home, working on my computer. Maybe I’m a recluse. Sometimes I attend daughter’s soccer games (when it’s not too cold). I really need to move to a warmer place…

I share my living space with my husband of 18 years, and 3 teen daughters. Usually one of our three cats (Trixie, Chillie, or Flav-or-Flav) can be found snuggled on my desk or on my lounge when I’m working. I write any chance I get, and am always on the computer or chatting on many of the groups I frequent.

I grew up in Philadelphia and was used to the busy sounds of the city, the cement sidewalks, and high sky-scrapers. Now, I enjoy the peaceful scenic views and green of the suburbs. My favorite season is summer, because I can write outside and enjoy nature. I really do need to move some place warmer!

Some things you might be surprised to know about me… Some call me a spitfire, lol, maybe because I’m all of 5 feet tall, but have enough gumption to speak my mind. I recently took my second plane ride, and one day WILL visit my favorite place: Scotland. I love cats, like dogs, love drinking tea, especially when it’s cold. I really do need to exist in a warmer place!! I forget to eat when I’m writing, but like to snack. I’m about the only woman in the world who doesn’t love chocolate. I’m an advocate for children’s rights, and love working with kids.

I’ve always enjoyed hearing stories about myths and magic. It’s no wonder I put some of that in my stories. There’s nothing like reading about witches, ghosts, vamps, wares, or shifters. Of course, there has to be romance in it, because I’m a romantic at heart.

I love writing heroes that make you wish you were the heroine, and about heroines who inspire courage, dignity, and inner-beauty. Find out more by reading my books. I love to hear from readers, so email me or speak up if you spot me on the
